Our migration to the next generation of SAP’s ERP software and new digital solutions will transform business processes, build a connected workforce, integrate automation and artificial intelligence, and improve data accuracy and reliability.

NextGen ERP is a large, complex multi-year program crafted to transform the way the electric utility operates. This critical strategic program leverages advanced technology innovations, such as machine learning and business process intelligence capabilities to enable an enterprise-wide future-focused business transformation. This transformation builds the foundation which will help power our planet, reduce carbon emissions, and create cleaner air for everyone.

This position will be responsible for ensuring business requirements are met through streamlined and rationalized processes that align with new technology capabilities for Asset Management, in addition to providing communication and implementation expertise to assigned areas. The NextGen ERP Business Transformation & Readiness, Senior Manager must communicate effectively across diverse levels within and outside the organization to achieve thorough vetting and approval of requirements, processes, integration points, and implementations.

A day in the life - Get ready to think big, work smart and shine bright!

  • Define strategy for accomplishing the Asset management’s objectives.

  • Lead the developments and implementation of asset management planning process improvement strategies, including process redesign, automation, and optimization. This position works with other senior leaders to ensure alignment with strategic direction and objectives across all Sub-tracks in the project.

  • Collaborate with stakeholders across the organization to ensure process improvements align with business goals and objectives.

  • Monitor and measure the effectiveness of process improvements to ensure they are achieving the desired outcomes.

The essentials

  • Five or more years of experience managing or supervising a team.

The preferred

  • Experience developing and engaging in discussions with a variety of audiences and levels across the a company.

  • Ability to integrate work across relevant areas, develop and execute business plans, manage risks, and manage information.

  • Process redesign experience

  • Experience effectively controlling divisional strategy, decision making, results delivery, team building

  • Ability to stay current with relevant technology and innovation.

  • Experience establishing department objectives and work plans as well as staffing and resource needs.

  • Ability to conceptually set direction and drive key corporate policies and programs across multiple departments

You should know

  • This position’s work mode is  hybrid . The employee will report to an SCE facility for a set number of days with the option to work remotely on the remaining days. Unless otherwise noted, employees are required to reside in the state of California.
