Supporting the pre-construction/construction planning processes by creating and tracking action items and managing project team member adherence.
Interfacing with the multi-disciplinary project teams which often consists of 30 or more members.
Assisting the project manager with all project related support tasks, such as preparation of progress reports, tracking of project milestones, schedules and budgets.
Establishing, communicating, and utilizing project procedures, directives, and bulletins to ensure compliance with SCE's policies and procedures.
Supporting, planning and organizing multiple projects, including monitoring and reporting project status, and coordinating activities and schedules to ensure timely delivery.
Utilization of project management tools and systems, including Microsoft Project to maintain complex project schedules.
Creating and maintaining project documentation, including version control, distribution, document storage/retention in complex document libraries and access control.
Working with Public Affairs to develop necessary public involvement data, talking points and presentations about project progress as well as working directly with local governments.
Five or more years of experience in a project management support role.
Three or more years of experience using software tools within MS Suite such as: Excel, Access, Word, PowerPoint, and Visio to present information.
Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Business, Business Administration, Business Management, Math, Statistics, Finance, Engineering or related degree. Masters degree preferred.
PMP Certification and/or Project Management Certificate
Experience supporting project meetings and presentations, including preparation of presentation material, agendas, taking meeting minutes.
Experience creating and editing complex reports, graphs, presentations, converting information from one format to another, generating non-standard reports, maintaining records, logs, document files and databases used for monitoring, tracking and trending programs/project costs, resources, schedules, and status for management.
Experience in supporting, planning and organizing multiple projects, including monitoring and reporting project status, and coordinating activities to ensure timely delivery.
Must demonstrate the ability to integrate work across relevant areas, manage risks appropriately, develop and execute business plans, manage information, and provide exceptional service to internal and external customers.

The primary work location for this position is Pomona Innovation Village 2; however, the successful candidate may also be asked to work for an extended amount of time at alternate work locations.
Position will require up to 50% traveling and being out in the field throughout the SCE service territory.
Relocation does not apply to this position.
This position has been identified as a NERC/CIP impacted position - Prior to being hired, the successful candidate must pass a Personnel Risk Assessment (PRA) or Background Investigation. Once hired, the candidate must complete specified training prior to gaining un-escorted access to assigned work location and performing necessary job duties.
