As a Project Manager, you will have IT project management responsibilities as a member of the T&D/Enterprise Enhancement Management team. You will work with Organizational Unit (OU) clients across T&D, and Enterprise in support of understanding their process and technology needs for application enhancements. You will serve as the key point of contact for IT application enhancements, perform demand management activities for understanding client requirements and concerns. You will prioritize across the enterprise to ensure highest valued enhancements are sourced and implemented.
Serve as the key point of contact for IT application enhancements.
Develop and fosters relationships with key business stakeholders, actively communicating and managing their expectations and monitoring satisfaction levels.
Work with business partners to ensure measures of quality, service performance, business alignment, and implementation dates are met.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams within IT to ensure business needs are in alignment with SCE's and IT’s strategic roadmap and technical capabilities.
Perform demand management activities which includes anticipating and influencing client demand, support solutions and escalate demand management client concerns.
Work together with capacity management to ensure business partner capacity meets the demand needs coming from across the enterprise.
Prioritize across the enterprise to ensure highest valued enhancements are sourced and implemented.
Ensure business requirements and technical requirements are clearly documented and aligned.
Provide project management oversite for a portfolio(s) of minor and major enhancements
Work with a team of System Analysts in the delivery of the minor and major enhancements.
Support new service introduction. Align cross functional team to ensure technology, projects and contract teams are prepared to introduce new services into the operational landscape.
Develop & deliver clear, meaningful, and timely communications to clients. Act as the primary liaison between service delivery and the business.
Identifies demand conflicts and resolves escalation of conflicts, where appropriate for resolution.
Seven (7) years of experience supporting or leading projects or key business initiatives in a technical environment.
One (1) year of customer relationship management in a technical environment.
2 years of IT portfolio and customer relationship management experience for an electric utility
Prior experience developing strategic technology plans in support of key business objectives.
